Saving Tayeba

A dolphin receives a second chance thanks to the incredible teamwork of HEPCA, NIOF, Red Sea Protected Areas, and Dolphin World Egypt. After intensive care, Tayeba returns to the Red Sea, her home.

Tayeba, a dolphin found in distress near the shores of Hurghada, embarked on a remarkable journey of recovery thanks to a collaborative effort spearheaded by HEPCA. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, our team swiftly mobilized, providing the necessary support for Tayeba's safe transfer. This success, however, could not have been achieved without the invaluable contributions of our esteemed partners:

National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF): Their expertise and resources played a crucial role in the initial assessment and treatment plan of Tayeba.
Red Sea Protected Areas: Their dedication to safeguarding marine life ensured Tayeba received the highest level of care and attention.
Dolphin World Egypt - Makadi Bay: Their specialized facilities and experienced caregivers provided Tayeba with the intensive treatment program she needed to thrive.
Under the watchful eyes of this dedicated team, Tayeba's health flourished in the specially designed treatment unit at Dolphin World Makadi Bay. Witnessing her remarkable progress, it was with immense joy that we celebrated her triumphant return to the Red Sea, her natural home.

Saving Tayeba stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in wildlife conservation. Through this united effort, we not only secured the wellbeing of a single dolphin but also reaffirmed our commitment to protecting the delicate ecosystem of the Red Sea.
