VDST Honours Amr Ali

On the 22nd of Janaury 2017 at the Red Sea Egypt`s stand, the VDST honored the memory and lifetime achievements of Amr Ali. As both managing director and board member he advanced HEPCA to become the leading conservation organization in the Red Sea. His dedication to the protection of the Red Sea environment helped save countless natural resources for our future generations. Amr Ali was instrumental in having HEPCA at the BOOT show, and bringing all the dive operators and resorts together under the umbrella of the Red Sea Egypt stand, his presence is deeply missed this year. The award was presented by professor Franz Bruemmer the president of the VSD.
