Sahl Hashish Underwater Cleanups

In order to promote environmental awareness and to preserve the unique ecosystem of the Red Sea; The scuba diving unit of the Outreach Program at the School of Sciences and Engineering, American University in Cairo (AUC Diving Club), Dive Pro Academy and The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh have organized several Underwater Cleanup Days in various dive spots during the past few days. Twenty AUC students, faculty, staff and diving team members participated in the cleanups. For them the activity was both an eye-opening experience and an exciting adventure that gave all involved a great sense of civic fulfillment.
