Mooring Update - January

New year – new boat; but same great old team. The members of our mooring team have been with us for around seven years now and every day we are thankful to have them. Maintaining the largest mooring buoy system in the world is not an easy job to do, but a job that they do with endless passion and contribution for the sake of Red Sea conservation. In January our team has been working in Marsa Alam and Hurghada. For those among you, who are frequent visitors of El Fanous, you might have noticed the new white buoys that now mark the new safe-zone for the local dolphin population, which is forbidden to enter by boat. Please respect these new regulations and report any violating boat that does enter the marked area. Our team also depends on your help: whenever you see missing or damaged moorings out at sea, please report those either via our website or send an email to mooring@hepca.com with the name of the dive site and the location of the broken mooring.
