HEPCA trains over 70 local dive guides with the PADI Dive Operation Management Distinctive Specialty Training Course as part of the Under the LIFE – Red Sea Sustainable Growth II Project

The USAID LIFE – Red Sea Sustainable Growth II Project is a U.S. Government-funded project implemented in coordination with HEPCA. The project seeks to raise the standard of living within the southern Red Sea, all the while promoting environmental conservation and awareness. During the months of May and June 2017 and Under the LIFE – Red Sea Sustainable Growth II Project, HEPCA have provided over 70 local dive guides with the PADI Dive Operation Management Distinctive Specialty Training Course. The training is designed to ensure the region’s competitiveness on the world tourism market in an environmentally conscious manner. The PADI Dive Operation Management Distinctive Specialty Course is aims to provide local dive guides with necessary skills to better understand their role as a Dive Professionals and as a customer service representatives; address and correct the attitude towards dive center customers, peers and management by understanding the strategies for effective team building and Marketing skills, E-Marketing, competitive advantage, Unique selling proposition, SWOT analysis, Pricing products and services and Customer services Plus the additional curriculum that was developed to introduce the most modern Diving Equipment standards and the latest updates of the Emergency First Response – Primary and Secondary care and AED Automated External Defibrillator and Medical Care for Children.
