HEPCA team carries out mooring work near Hurghada and Marsa Alam

In their continued efforts for environmental conservation and protection, particularly of the Red Sea reefs and other diving sites, the HEPCA mooring team carried out moorings maintenance and installations at various coral reefs and diving locations near Hurghada (Abu Nuqar, Fanous, Sabina, Banana, Turfit El-Shaheed and Hamda Reefs, Turtle Bay as well as Magaweesh and Abu Monqar Islands) from the 1st to the 8th of May. Their operations included carrying out maintenance and replacement work on 21 different moorings at 12 different reef locations. The Association’s mooring team in the south carried out maintenance and installation works at Samadai and El Nakary reefs. HEPCA urges all Red Sea dive centers and visitors to report any missing or damaged moorings to mooring@hepca.com.
