HEPCA & Deutche Schule clean-up campaign in Abo Monkar Islan

HEPCA and Deutsche Schule Hurghada organized beach cleanup in Abo Monkar Island as part the No Plastic awareness campaigns by HEPCA Hurghada schools and during the Environmental Project week of Deutche Schule held between 23 – 26 June.
The clean-up was conducted by 105 students and 15 teachers, the amount of plastic garbage debris collected was approximately 150 kgm.
After the clean-up, all students and teachers headed to Mahmeya Island for lunch in response to an invitation by Alya Group (Mahmeya) in recognition for their efforts in cleaning our beloved habitat.
