Care for Dolphins

Since successful launch of our Samadai training initiative, we've been receiving a lot of requests from across the Red Sea for dolphin awareness programs and dolphin encounter training for guides. It’s encouraging to see so much enthusiasm by the community towards dolphin protection and HEPCA is fully committed to helping our supporters in this regard. "Care for Dolphins," is a conservation awareness and environmental education program about bottle nose dolphins living in the Hurghada area, that was created by the Dolphin Watch Alliance association (www.dolphinwatchalliance.org) and headed by Angela Ziltener. The "Care for Dolphins" program (www.carefordolphins.org) will be coming under the umbrella of HEPCA in order to formulate a comprehensive training and certification model. The Care for Dolphin program has steadily grown and is now in need of HEPCA's oversight to ensure official recognition, a standardized certification scheme, and the necessary enforcement on the ground. We will keep you updated as this project develops and if you are interested in being a part of this program, please contact info@hepca.org
