HEPCA provides PADI training for local Ababda as part of the USAID/Egypt LIFE – Red Sea Sustainable Growth II Project
USAID/Egypt LIFE – Red Sea Sustainable Growth II Project is a U.S. Government-funded project implemented in coordination with HEPCA. The project seeks to raise the standard of living within the southern Red Sea, all the while promoting environmental conservation and awareness
As part of the project, HEPCA provided a training course for 10 participants from the local community of the southern red sea "Ababda".The training focused on professional diving training and skills development and advanced technical training on mooring installation and maintenance further to become a member of the HEPCA's mooring unit. From first levels of diving until becoming professional divers
Over one year; HEPCA provided knowledge development and practical sessions according to the highest international standards of the diving industry. followed by a intensive training on mooring systems under the supervision of our mooring team We are glad to announce that 4 participants made it to the end of the training and now they're ready to perform their duties in Southern Red Sea
