Mr. Zazou has intervened to stop the sale of our national parks and has proven time and time again that he is a real activist and ally in our on-going struggle for environmental protection.

Breaking News – Red Sea Governor Closes Shabb el Erg and Shabb Fanus

Shabb el Erg and Shabb Fanus will be closed off to the public for a period of 1 month starting from May 15, 2013 until June 15, 2013. All tourism activities to these sites will be banned during this period and a 10,000 L.E. fine will be imposed on anyone that is found violating this legal decree, or engaging in any environmental violations or harassment of marine life.

False Killer Whales Spotted in the South

On April 13, 2013 we received news from Emperor Divers in the south that they had spotted a pod of false killer whales. The pod was seen between Marsa Shouna and Marsa Mubarak, slightly offshore as the guests were returning from an Elphinstone day trip. The pod stayed close to the boat for around 10 minutes just bow riding and playing. Some of the larger ones were estimated to be between 3-4 meters...
